Gameplay shown up to now has shown 8 participant instance maxes. This would not violate current AI systems, thinking about the existing AI just follow your route or teleport to you when they have stuck. I'm thinking it is going to be a similar system to what Dragon's Dogma Online had. The world is huge and open, but everything out of cities was instanced. I am thinking it will be a similar system to what Dragon's Dogma Online had. The world is open and huge, but everything outside of towns was instanced. They watered down the climbing to a formulation and changed a bunch of courses but now that it's gone I constantly wish to play with it.

I would absolutely love Dragon's Dogma Online-styled encounters in Phantasy Star if since it gives us a reason to explore the planet (or at least fast journey to it to hop in and out) and to have a challenge with all the directors and enemies.

I'd imagine with the way New Genesis would possibly be balanced which every course is viable like how Dragon's Dogma Online cleaned up the vocations so they were complete packages that gamers could expand on and flesh out without needing to take part in things like what Phantasy Star Online 2 now has (specifically Mags determining which classes you'll excel at along with your ability tree also ascertaining what you gain and lose).

I'd personally drop the entire ability tree, and the main class/subclass method to have something such as Dragon's Dogma Online failed with the habit abilities, core abilities, along with the augments with the capability to mix-and-match augments, that everyone unlocks core skills and has them together, and that players define their own playstyle with their custom abilities.

A large part of the preference for me is so you could surely spend your own time and resources into upgrading and unlocking new abilities and skills and then after you are done you can go back and mix-and-match items to your liking without realizing you would need to fall in money just like you currently do if you wanted to construct something like an optimal main course tree and a variant for an optimum subclass tree, or even invest in another Mag since you're missing about 6-7% of your total damage (and therefore are overlooking 200 points to equip your weapons/units).
